So let’s get to this week’s blog post, as always, don’t forget to “like” Frankly Speaking on Facebook, and please feel free to comment at the bottom of this article. Though, as I was forced to post in a recent Facebook discussion, here is your frankacomb.com disclaimer: As a general rule for FrankAcomb.com and Facebook, I allow and encourage posts that disagree with me, but if it is insulting, degrading or abusive, I will not post it. The purpose for allowing comments is to discuss the CONTENT of the message, not to vilify the messenger.  Alright, now back to this week’s post. . .

We don’t have the time or the space to discuss in full, all of the details in the “Fast and Furious” “gunwalker” scandal. In case you aren’t familiar with what it is I am talking about, let me give you an overview of this disgrace of a “program” that should end the careers of President Obama, Eric Holder, anyone with knowledge of it in the Department of Justice, or in Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and anyone else with involvement in this “Program.” A “Program” which caused the death of American Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry. I recently had the privilege to interview Ted Nugent . He appeared on “Frankly Speaking.” July 19, 2011.  I asked Mr. Nugent what his opinion of the “Fast and Furious “situation was. Here is his reply;

 ”. . . I’ll save my opinion for after I give you the facts. The facts reflect those painful, heartbreaking terms that I’ve used a number of times during this interview. ‘Abuse of power and corruption.’ There’s supposed to be a separation of the judicial, the executive and the legislation branches of this government. Horrorifically and heartbreakingly and criminally all three of them are in cahoots and corrupt. That gunrunning, that law breaking, oath to the Constitution violation that is the “Fast and Furious,” known orchestrated and intentional running of illegally purchased guns, was orchestrated by Eric Holder, the President knew it, and the Department of Justice knew it, the ATF bureaucrats knew it, and they did it anyway Frank!  And we had heroes of the United States Law Enforcement killed, with guns that were illegal transported to Mexico BY OUR GOVERNMENT, FRANK!”

“. . . The vast majority of Federal Law Enforcement Agents are warriors, they are heroes, and one of them in the ATF blew the whistle on his own bosses and his own agency, and identified the criminal violation of Eric Holder, the Chief of the ATF and the Department of Justice, by knowingly facilitating and demanding of legal gun dealers to break the law, and send illegal guns to Mexico. Frank, if these people don’t go to jail this time, America is done! I believe that Eric Holder should be tried , I believe that the head of the DOJ, maybe a dozen of them, they knew what was going on, you can’t smuggle and knowingly take guns, illegally  bought from legal gun dealers in America over the border to Mexico, without the entire upper echelon of the US Government knowing about it. These sons of (Beep) have to go to jail.”

So, that is the Motor City Madman’s take on it. It has become evident that there is a definite cover-up going on with this scandal. Hillary Clinton, and others have tried to use this as a rallying cry to restrict our second amendment rights. While they were allowing guns purchased in the United States to be put in the hands of criminals in Mexico, they were calling for rights to be taken away from law-abiding citizens in the United States. Leave it to liberals to make political hay out of tragedies. The guns they allowed to go across the border were found at the crime scenes, where American’s lost their lives, and innocent Mexican citizens lost their lives. The DOJ has tried to influence witnesses and because of their past history they have been warned not to intimidate the whistle blowers. They are trying to cover this up as much as they can, so as to protect themselves, and their liberal agenda. And to add a new twist, it now appears that the Obama administration might have cut a deal with the drug cartel that was receiving the guns.

This is something that should bring down President Barack Obama Eric Holder the DOJ, an organization that picks and chooses what to go after and what not to, and anyone else who allowed this to happen. This is a tragedy, and those responsible should be brought to justice.  I agree with Brit Humes who said “This is a real scandal, and once again, we have the classic question of what did the attorney general, for example, know? When did he know it?” Gunwalker needs to be investigated for the protection of our gun rights, but also for the protection of our County and its citizens.

But, if for no other reason, these people should be brought to justice for the memory of Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry.

  1. This clearly was an attempt to blame the average Joes of the nation for the crisis in Mexico, and then introduce more restrictive gun laws.

    Face it, when I government is willing to MANUFACTURE a crisis in hopes it “won’t go to waste”, then plan for rounding up citizens and guns could be just around the corner.

  3. This is just a guess from connecting the achrived News Dots; there was a News Story which broke some months earlier, and then just vanished from the airwaves, which stated that Obama was looking to the UN to pass a resolution that would make it unlawful for private U.S. citizens or gun shows to sell or trade guns. I would not put it past him to deliberately try to create an International incident to further this agenda; if this was the case, then it was there intention for the guns to get into Mexico, but not for anyone to know who, when, or why it happened. Since they would know that the Mexican Government would easily identify where the guns came from, and that would create the perfect International incident for the UN to act upon. Shalom!
